Outdoor Games are Wide Open
Pokémon Go seems to dominate outdoor video games, but really its “collecting stuff” gameplay is a niche. Who plays collecting games on PC or console? Why should “collecting stuff” be the complete potential of outdoor gaming? To us it looks like a wide open landscape.
What players want are the proven game genres like action, roleplaying, and strategy, but Pokémon Go’s technology (fixed GPS points) just can’t support them. Here’s our white paper with facts and details.
That’s what we do. Our technology, based on 6 patents, can take the most popular and most profitable game genres from PC and console and put them outside for the first time.
Our founder, Johnny Monsarrat, was one of the original co-inventors of MMO gaming, as Founder, CEO, and CTO of Turbine, one of the “big three” first MMO game companies. Turbine made “Game of the Year” Asheron’s Call and “Game of the Year” Lord of the Rings Online, and is now a division of Warner Bros.

It’s a completely new category of video game, never seen before, that is:
- Social. MMO style gameplay brings players together in quest parties and teams, building friendships and community.
- Creative. We go beyond “collecting stuff” gameplay to deep storytelling and roleplaying adventures. Immersive AR interactivity is central to gameplay. Future players will create their own adventures.
- Convenient. We have no fixed locations. You play anywhere you want to, in a local park, your own backyard, or any open space, even if it’s small or indoors.

Outdoor Collecting Games like Pokémon Go use hundreds of fixed, zero-dimensional GPS points. That technology just can’t support the most popular types of gameplay from PC and console outside. Think of a kids’ playground. How much play could they have if the playground were zero-dimensional, a pinpoint?
Our Outdoor Roleplaying Games let you put a game world in your back yard or any small space. Then you walk through it, like the Holodeck on Star Trek. We call it “Landscape Reality”, an entire landscape of AR content!
It’s based on 6 patents that fit game zones into real world spaces, and let you move them around real world barriers like park benches.
With our Team Spirits technology, you’ll even be able to play a mission with someone in a different park.
An Alternative to Sports
Playing sports is a great way to make new friends. But many people feel shut out of sports. They find sports boring and exhausting.
Our outdoor roleplaying games give them a more creative, less athletic outdoor alternative. Like sports it gets you moving and helps you make friends. And it also draws sporty people who like video games but don’t want to sit for hours.

Most video games are a break from life, a stress break. Immersive games “feel real”, but your body knows the truth: you’re sitting statically in your mom’s basement, with all the lights off.
